Completedworks for ASICS

Handcrafted in Completedworks’ London studio, the designs incorporate signature motifs from the brand’s most recognised design language, including mismatched gems, pearlescent bows, and floral elements. The result is a striking juxtaposition: a technically driven silhouette adorned with expressive, jewellery-like details. Available in classic black and white, the three designs celebrate contrast, precision and play, movement and stillness, pragmatism and ornament.

Led by Founder and Artistic Director Anna Jewsbury, Completedworks is celebrated for transforming everyday objects into coveted design pieces. Jewsbury’s creative vision aligns seamlessly with ASICS SportStyle’s ethos:

that footwear should move effortlessly through all aspects of life. Together, the collaboration tells a story of modern versatility, demonstrating how ASICS sneakers are not only engineered for comfort, but also designed to be styled, worn, and lived in by people constantly on the move.

“As a studio, we often discuss the juxtaposition of femininity and a certain sense of ornateness with the practical and everyday. Trainers, with their simplicity and pragmatism, sit perfectly at the centre of that.”

– Anna Jewsbury, Creative Director at Completedworks

The collaboration is launched as part of ASICS SportStyle’s Crafts for Mind programme, a non-profit initiative dedicated to supporting mental wellbeing through creativity and craftsmanship. In today’s fast-paced world, caring for mental health is as vital as maintaining physical health. Crafts for Mind reflects ASICS’ belief in the philosophy of Sound Mind, Sound Body, creating actionable contributions that help people find balance and emotional wellbeing.

A portion of the profits from the collaboration will support Yorkshire Sculpture Park’s Community Programme, which delivers artist-led activities in partnership with Appletree Community Garden. Together, these initiatives foster mental wellbeing, creativity, and a deeper connection to nature through shared creative experiences.
