COMPLETEDWORKS x Sessions Arts Club
COMPLETEDWORKS joins Sessions Arts Club for the second year as part of Frieze London 2026, presenting a hand-embroidered T-shirt alongside a selection of functional art from its homeware collection.
In response to a series of sunset paintings by Jonny Gent, artist and founder of Sessions Arts Club, and inspired by Brian Bates' book The Way of Wyrd, COMPLETEDWORKS was invited to create the official uniform for Pilgrimage, the third iteration of the restaurant's immersive installation.
The T-shirt explores the theme of transient journeys, with shifting scenery and gestural colours evoking a sense of the world in motion. It is finished with COMPLETEDWORKS' signature black beaded bows. Shop the exclusive T-shirt.
Alongside it, COMPLETEDWORKS presents recycled glassware in tones that evoke sunrises and sunsets, and wound vases that convey the physical sensation of a journey. These are joined by a selection of encountered objects: sterling silver salad servers, trinket boxes and ceramic display cushions that explore ideas of rest, respite, transience and permanence.
"There's something really beautiful about the idea of a pilgrimage: not just as a physical journey, but as a series of fleeting moments, encounters and transformations along the way. For this collaboration, we wanted to explore that feeling of being in motion, and the tension between things that are constantly changing and those that seem to stay the same. Jonny's sunset paintings felt like a natural starting point, with their sense of colour, movement and impermanence. We wanted the pieces to feel like little fragments of a journey, some familiar, some slightly surreal, and to bring a sense of playfulness to the idea of what we carry with us, what we leave behind, and what we choose to hold on to."
