Freelance Digital Designer

Completedworks is seeking a highly skilled and conceptually driven Freelance Digital Designer to support our team in crafting visually compelling digital design solutions, seeing projects through from initial concept to final artwork. Working closely with our ecommerce team, you will play a key role in shaping the visual identity of our new website redesign and enhanced functionality, ensuring an elevated and seamless digital experience.

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented freelance designer with a strong background in graphic and motion design, as well as an understanding of UX/UI principles, to contribute to a luxury brand that values brand storytelling and craftsmanship.

Responsibilities include:

• Support interface creation, design and delivery as part of Completedworks’ internal ecommerce team and alongside third party developers.

• Collaborate with the ecommerce team to find smart solutions to complex problems.

• Be responsible for assigned projects and tasks, maintaining high standards of creativity and consistency.

• A rigorous eye for detail and appreciation for type, layout and pixel-perfect delivery.

• Contribute to the UX/UI design and refinement of our digital web experience, ensuring both aesthetic impact and functional ease of use.

• Strong understanding of UX and UI practices and user centred design, including user stories, user flows and wireframing.

• Have the ability to take projects from concept through to launch.

• Work closely with design and ecommerce teams to translate ideas into visually compelling concepts that drive engagement and conversion.

• Maintain and evolve Completedworks' visual identity across digital touchpoints while introducing fresh and innovative ideas. 

Required experience & skills:

• Experience with designing ecommerce websites

• Basic knowledge of front-end development and modern web technologies and tools

• Experience of working in close collaboration with development teams

• Self-motivated, positive under pressure, keen attention to detail and a strong personal drive to deliver high quality work

• Prior experience working within luxury, fashion, or contemporary design brands is preferred.

• Good organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Expertise: 

• Proficient in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite

• Principle / ProtoPie or other protoyping tool 

• After Effects (beneficial but not essential)

• Familiarity with CMS platforms with a preference for Shopify

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Motion design (bonus!)
