Every diamond we set is graded by the GIA and hand-selected by our team for its cut, colour and clarity. This guide covers what to know when choosing your diamonds, including natural or lab-grown and shape.
Our standards
We work only with diamonds graded Excellent or Very Good for cut, and within the D-J colour range, ensuring brilliance and clarity across every piece, from a single stone to a fully pavé setting.
Natural or lab-grown
Our collections are set with natural diamonds as standard. Lab-grown diamonds, chemically and visually identical to natural stones, are available on request. Please contact our team or book an appointment to discuss options.
Choosing a shape
Shape is the outline of a diamond, from a round brilliant to a pear or marquise. Each of our designs is built around a specific shape or combination of shapes to complement its form. If you would like to explore a different shape for a piece you love, our team is happy to help and discuss options.
Carat
Carat refers to a diamond's weight, not its size. Where a design offers a choice of carat, this is reflected in the product options. For pavé and multi-stone settings, total carat weight reflects the combined weight of all diamonds set.
Certification
Every diamond we set is accompanied by a certificate, verifying the cut, colour and clarity graded. Each piece also comes with a Completedworks certificate of authenticity.
